GOOD WISHES
A retired man who volunteers to entertain patients at a nursing home, took his portable keyboard along. He told some jokes and played the keyboard and sang.
When he was finished, he said in farewell, "I hope you get better."
One elderly guy said, "I hope you get better too"

BLIND MAN
A lady was taking a bath when she heard a knock on the door. "Can I come in", the male voice said. "Who is it?", the lady asks. It's the blind man. Thinking he is blind, she goes to the door without getting a towel. When he comes in he is a little taken back but says, "Where do you want me to install the blinds?"

July 4th - No Meeting. TOT closed for vacation and the 4th

July 11th - No regular meeting. TOT closed for vacation but President and three others met at the Celtic Fox for a good lunch and a great visit.

July 18th - Police Department's Citizens Academy ( No Minutes Available)

July 25th - Topeka Rescue Mission. Jessica Hosman made an interesting slide presentation and discussion of the upcoming expansion they are about to undertake. Included in this expansion is the Children's Palace (which will have a "palace looking" entrance. All of their projects will increase the space available to handle the people and families that depend on the Mission and to separate the various age groups.

President Joe indicated that there was an opportunity for the club to assist with some of the activities in the Hi-Crest area. At this point, there is no more information available. Look for futures email from President Joe or updates of this newsletter.
